SARA Summit
Lauren Drumm, Environmental Scientist out of the HRL PA office, attended The Blair County, PA Local Emergency Planning Committee’s 7th Annual Blair County SARA Summit on May 10th, 2016. The theme of the conference this year was “Are You Aware of Your Surroundings?” The morning session included two presentations on active shooter training and testimonial, as well as a presentation on clandestine meth labs. The afternoon sessions attended by HRL employees included “Hands on Hazmat” and “EPCRA 312 Reporting: What the Rules Mean for You.” HRL provides EPCRA 312 reporting (commonly known as Tier II reporting) services to various clients, and continually seeks out training opportunities such as this to provide the most up-to-date information to its clients.
