Bio-Remediation Workshop

Jordan Cario attended a Bio-remediation workshop in November.  It focused on the remediation and restoration of hydrocarbon and brine contaminated soils.  This workshop covered everything from project preparation and oversight, to operating and maintaining an environment essential to successful bio-remediation, to the molecular science and interactions between the soils/microbes/bio-remediation products.  The course finished with tips to promote re-vegetation and case-studies showing the effectiveness of bio-remediation as a practical and cost effective way to manage hydrocarbon contaminated soils.
